Craig Porteils is a multi platinum, award winning, international Music Producer and Mixer residing in Sydney Australia. He started his career in the recording capital, Los Angeles in 1989 where he learnt his craft that led him to recording some of the biggest names in the music business. Craig is also a successful composer having penned the hit song for Greek Eurovision entrant Sakis Rouvas. The song, This Is Our night, came 7th in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2009 and was a hit throughout Europe.
Craig is also an established Sound Designer / Broadcast Mixer and Commercial Composer with many established big-brand commercial clients. Having worked at high-end commercial recording studios in Sydney and overseas he has gathered invaluable cultural and technical experience in Sound Design and Commercial Composition.
Craig shares knowledge and skills with up-and-coming music and sound professionals through his own music and audio engineering classes.
Craig has created a “Young Artists Development Program”. Having produced “The Voice” Kids album for Universal Music Australia, Craig was inspired to create a unique program to help young singers and songwriters make it in the music business. This involves one-on-one mentoring and producing a demo recording for the singer / songwriter to present to music industry professionals that Craig has established relationships over his remarkable career.
